“ 06/21/2024 Maureen and Pat are friendly and welcoming. The jumbo English muffin is tasty. They have a great selection of t-shirts. The port-a-potty was extremely clean. ”
“ Heard from a cheese steak group that these guys make good cheese steaks, living 15 mins outside Philly I wasn’t expecting much and I’ve never really had a good cheese steak in Maine or New Hampshire where I’ve been going my entire life, edible at best.... These guys absolutely blew my socks off.... Meat to cheese ratio done perfectly onions cooked nicely, better than most cheese steaks in Philly! and the owners came out and talked to us for like half an hour.... Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, also tried a vegetable stew they make which was delicious... store sells beer too, it’s a really cool place and scenic... my only complaint is that based on the cheese steak, I want to try everything on the entire menu which it seems like they have a ton of different food, so that will be a difficult task. Will absolutely be back and I’d say this place is worth going out of your way to try (also the picture I took of the steak doesn’t really do it justice) ”
“ We had a steak and cheese and a cheese burger from here today and I must say it was all cooked beautifully. The carrot cake and the chocolate cake were to die for as well. Will absolutely e back again. ”
“ One of our favorite local spots, I've been coming here really my entire life!!! Mo and the crew are the best, I easily get sidetracked into conversation. The food is great...the cheese steak is top notch, the pizza is fantastic, and a new favorite of mine is the grilled Buffalo chicken sub! The danishes on Saturday morning are a big hit with the kids at my house. Really can't say enough good things about Stow Corner Store! ”
“ Our first visit to the Stow Corner Store was before a long, hard day of backcountry skiing. Honestly, I don’t think I would have made to the summit it if the store didn’t have an extra egg in their amazing breakfast sandwich. When we returned, exhausted, at the end of the day the owner greeted us by name. That’s the kind of place it is. Note: Stow Corner Store also has some stuff you wouldn’t expect. We picked up a great local trail map, some windshield squirter fluid, a cool t-shirt. The beer selection is deep and sophisticated. The food is amazing. Nothing about the store is snooty, but the quality is next-level. I wish you could give 6 stars! ”
“ Cute little shop near white mountains national forest on route 113 north. Stopped in for some pastries and coffee and was very impressed. The apple crumble was incredible, really sweet with perfectly soft apples. The cookies were great as well, and the coffee was impressive for a such a small shop. When i am in the area again i will definitely stop here. ”
“ Stopped here on a whim passing through. Phenomenal sandwiches and made to order food. Super friendly folks. I'll be headed back when next in the area. ”
“ Drove up from Conway on whim and a recommendation. About 30 minutes in total over a frost heaved Rt. 113 wondering whether this was REALLY a great idea. Bluebird day with gorgeous vistas and snow capped hills made up for alot, but still... Well, I’m glad I did. The quaintest little roadside shop in the area is a locals paradise. I wasn’t sure if I needed someone to vouch for me . I met Maureen the owner and ordered the seafood chowder as recommended... and it was fantastic. Authentic Maine. The menu board has quite a bit and even delved into Asian themes, who knew? Worth the drive. ”
